Asia Novice Debate Open (ANDO) 2025
The Asia Novice Debate Open (ANDO) 2025 is an online debate tournament designed for novice debaters across Asia. This platform allows students to compete against their peers, refine their public speaking skills, and enhance critical thinking in a structured, competitive setting.
Who Can Join?
Novices are defined as participants who have never debated at:
✅ WSDC (World Schools Debating Championship)
✅ UADC (United Asian Debating Championship)
✅ ABP (Asian British Parliamentary)
✅ Australs (Australasian Intervarsity Debating Championship)
✅ WUDC (World Universities Debating Championship)
About ANDO
Established in 2020, ANDO is an annual event aimed at developing essential debating, persuasion, and leadership skills among students. This aligns with MIDP’s mission to empower youth through soft skills and leadership development.

Competition Format
📌 Four (4) Preliminary Rounds
📌 Knockout Stages: Top teams advance to Octofinals or Pre-Quarterfinals
📌 Grand Finals: The top four (4) teams compete for the championship
